--FalconStor Software has a partnering agreement with China Security & Surveillance Technology to bring the efficiencies of SAN virtualization, storage provisioning, business continuity, and storage management to the digital video security and surveillance market.
--Emulex's LightPulse Fibre Channel HBAs are now available and qualified for use within the new EMC Clariion CX4 midrange storage system.
--Permabit and Atempo have entered into a technology partnership and recently completed interoperability testing of the Atempo Digital Archive (ADA) file archiving software with Permabit's disk-based Enterprise Archive system. Supported OS platforms include Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Unix. ADA provides user-initiated, policy-based archiving via CIFS and NFS.
--Adaptec has a strategic agreement with HCL Technologies Ltd. whereby Adaptec will retain ownership of all intellectual property (IP) developed, and HCL will integrate Adaptec's India Technology Center (ITC) in Bangalore, India, into its operations and assume responsibility for the management of Adaptec engineering programs assigned to that location.
--Moonwalk Inc., an Australian developer of data management and protection software, announced that its Moonwalk 6.0 Software has been certified for compatibility with the Hitachi Content Archive Platform.
--Yosemite announced a partnership with InMage Systems that will allow InMage to offer Yosemite's FileKeeper Corporate CDP software with its flagship DR-Scout solution, which combines disaster recovery with CDP.
--McAfee has a definitive agreement to acquire privately owned Reconnex, a data loss prevention (DLP) company, for $46 million in cash.
--3PAR announced qualification of Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) for deployment with 3PAR Utility Storage under the Oracle Unbreakable Linux Support program.
--ONStor will now resell the Fujitsu ETERNUS4000 and ETERNUS8000 storage systems with ONStor's clustered filers and NAS gateways.
