Jul 10, 2008 -- Given that the pressures to encrypt data at-rest are continuing to mount, and the IEEE Secure Storage Working Group is nearly finished establishing standards for disk/tape encryption and key management, it is time to revisit some operational considerations associated with planning and policy development for tape encryption.
