InfiniCon Systems has signed an OEM agreement with Themis Computer, whereby Themis will integrate InfiniCon's InfinIO 7000 shared I/O system technology with its hardened embedded computing systems.
RAID Inc. has entered into a strategic relationship with Qualstar, whereby RAID will integrate and resell Qualstar's tape libraries. Qualstar's libraries will be integrated into RAID's Xanadu SAN solutions and will complement RAID's Cobra and Condor family of direct-attached storage systems.

CA is providing iSponsor integration software for its range of BrightStor storage management applications, including BrightStor Enterprise Backup, BrightStor ARCserve Backup, BrightStor SRM, and BrightStor SAN Manager. Use of the iSponsor/iGateway technology enables ready integration with storage solutions from Network Appliance, StoreAge, CacheWare, and LXI, among others.

China Mobile, a wireless carrier in the People's Republic of China, has selected an Optical Ethernet solution from Nortel Networks as the platform for new data-communications networks in metropolitan Shanghai and Zhejiang province. Nortel's solution will also enable the two China Mobile branches to implement SAN, business continuity, and disaster-recovery services to support wireless subscribers.
TidalWire has formed a distribution partnership with the Connectivity Division of Emerson Network Power, a manufacturer of cabling and other devices integral to building SANs. Under the agreement, TidalWire has been named a select distributor of the Emerson line of Fibre Channel cables and trunks for the SAN market.
GlassHouse Technologies has received $6.4 million in Series B funding, bringing the total investment to $8 million. Funding was led by Sigma Partners—a previous investor—and by GrandBanks Capital and JAFCO Ventures.
