Sepaton has integrated the Emulex 2Gbps InSpeed 350 and 370 embedded switches into the Sepaton S2100 family of virtual tape library (VTL) systems. In addition, NEC has implemented Emulex’s InSpeed embedded switches into its new NEC iStorage S4900 Series of enterprise storage solutions, and Engenio has integrated the Emulex 4Gbps InSpeed SOC 422 embedded switch into its 6998 4Gbps Fibre Channel storage controller. Separately, Emulex and Hewlett-Packard have entered into an OEM agreement to deliver an Emulex-based Fibre Channel host bus adapter (HBA) for HP BladeSystem.

NeoScale Systems’ Crypto-Stor FC storage security appliance and Decru’s DataFort storage security appliance are now available through the EMC Select Program.

Data Domain has secured $15 million in Series C funding, led by Greylock Partners and joined by investors New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Sutter Hill Ventures, bringing total funding to date to $41 million.

More than 60 regional VARs have joined the Premier tier of the Revinetix D3 certified partner program. The D3 sales channel program provides resellers with referrals, sales incentives, and extended sales support for the Revinetix line of turnkey D2D network backup appliances.

Also, LSI Logic’s SAS products will be integrated into eight Hewlett-Packard ProLiant enterprise server platforms. Separately, LSI Logic has formed a licensing agreement with PyX Technologies, which will allow LSI Logic to bring an iSCSI MegaRAID solution to entry-level and midrange servers and external IP SAN environments.

EMC will resell the NetEx HyperIP DRO (Data Replication Optimizer) appliance through the EMC Select Program.

FalconStor’s IPStor Enterprise Edition software has successfully completed validation testing with Oracle Database environments under the Oracle Storage Compatibility Program (OSCP).

LSI Logic and Silicon Graphics have partnered to provide end users with a complete 4Gbps SAN infrastructure. LSI Logic’s single and dual-port 4Gbps Fibre Channel HBAs will ship with the SGI Infinite-Storage TP9700 4Gbps disk array.

EVault and Charter Business have entered into an agreement whereby Charter Business will resell EVault’s online backup-and-recovery service.
