Symantec has launched its Intelligent Archiving Partner program, developed to provide organizations with more-specific information about the content and context of the records in their ever-growing data stores. Symantec has partnered with a number of content classification and records management software providers to help Symantec Enterprise Vault e-mail and content archiving software customers make more informed decisions around the archiving, storage, retention, and discovery of these business records. Content classification software vendors include Kazeon, MessageGate Inc., Orchestria, and Recommind. Initial ECM and records management partners include Hummingbird, Interwoven, MDY, and Stellent.
