  • EMC announced the availability of its Connectrix ED-10000M backbone director, which delivers high levels of flexibility to enterprise SANs. The new Connectrix system is an OEM version of the McData Intrepid 10000 backbone director (i10k) and is the newest member of the EMC Connectrix family of switches and directors.
  • CA is integrating its Message Manager e-mail archive and management solution (formerly Assentor Enterprise) with Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g integrated collaborative environment. This integration enables customers to retain and manage e-mail messages across the enterprise to meet rapidly escalating compliance, litigation support, and corporate governance requirements.
  • DataCore Software has entered into a partnership with AccessFlow, a computer systems consultant and reseller that designs and deploys virtual infrastructure solutions. AccessFlow's mission is to combine server virtualization (VMware), storage virtualization (SAN), network virtualization, and client/application virtualization (Citrix) to enable reductions in IT costs.
  • Copan Systems has received $17.5 million in new investment capital, led by Credit Suisse, with existing backers Austin Ventures, Globespan Capital Partners, Pequot Ventures, Pinnacle Ventures, and Horizon Technology Finance also participating. Since the company's inception, Copan has raised $56.5 million.
  • RAID Inc. and CBIZ Network Solutions, LLC (a subsidiary of CBIZ Inc.), a technology consulting firm specializing in helping businesses across the country improve operational performance, have a relationship in which CBIZ can integrate RAID's full line of enterprise class data storage systems into the CBIZ family of technology.
  • NeoPath Networks has launched the NeoPath Channel Partner Program. Developed to enable resellers to address the growing demand for advanced storage management, the program supports partners throughout the entire sales cycle to accelerate file management solutions adoption. Program members include Dataline, ePlus, IAS, NET Source, Plan B Technologies (PBT), SANZ, The Ergonomic Group, and XData.
  • Brocade Communications Systems will unify its existing channel programs, including the Elite Partner Program and Tapestry Partner Programs, into the comprehensive Brocade Alliance Partner Network. This new program extends the company's investment in channel partners that focus on shared storage and IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Asigra has partnered with ONStor to reduce the costs and complexities of protecting data across remote locations through a combination of its newly launched Televaulting 6.0 software upgrade and ONStor's Bobcat Series Enterprise NAS gateways. Core Consultancy, a provider of disaster-recovery solutions for small to medium-sized enterprises in the UK, is the first customer to benefit from this joint solution.
