—At the Storage World Conference (www.storageworldconference.com) in Long Beach, CA, InfoStor and the Association of Storage Networking Professionals (www.asnp.org) today announced the winners in the Most Valuable Product (MVP) awards program. The annual MVP awards are co-sponsored by InfoStor and the ASNP.

Industry analysts and select members of the ASNP narrowed down hundreds of product submissions in seven categories to 10 or fewer finalists in each category. Then, InfoStor's end-user readers and members of the ASNP (all of whom are end users) voted to determine the winners in each category with the exception of the Most Innovative Product award, which was determined by industry analysts.

The MVP awards are designed to determine the "best of the best" storage networking products, as determined by the stringent criteria of IT users.

For a complete list of finalists in each category, see "MVP Awards finalists selected."
