  • iStor Networks and ASUS, a provider of integrated 3C solutions (computer, communications, and consumer electronics), are partnering to demonstrate the 10GbE version of the GigaStorATX at this week's 2006 Data Storage Expo in Tokyo, Japan.
  • XOsoft and AmeriVault have introduced Fast Track, a program to help companies in hurricane-affected areas quickly and easily implement a disaster-recovery solution in time for this year's hurricane and tornado season. The program consists of a combination of AmeriVault's data-protection services and XOsoft's high-availability software to offer a managed service offering with a secure, off-site data center that is away from the threats caused in the hurricane zone or tornado alley.
  • StoredIQ has completed integration between its ICM 5000 content-based classification and policy management software and EMC Centera CAS.
  • Sanrad has secured $10 million in funding from Foundation Capital and other investors.
  • Symantec has qualified ADIC's Pathlight VX disk-to-tape backup solution with Veritas NetBackup from Symantec as part of ADIC's participation in the Symantec Technology Enabled Program.
  • Avanade, a technology integrator specializing in the Microsoft enterprise platform, has selected and deployed Riverbed's Steelhead wide-area data services (WDS) appliances to improve the performance of its applications, including Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Exchange Server, over the wide area network (WAN), and enable centralization of its IT infrastructure.
  • Exanet and Asigra announced that Data Storage Corp. (DSC), an off-site data vaulting service bureau, has selected their respective software technologies as the cornerstone of an infrastructure upgrade in support of DSC's market-leading services.
  • LSI Logic has certified compatibility of Revivio's Continuous Protection System (CPS) 1200 solution with all of the company's Engenio storage arrays.
  • Shunra Software, a provider of predictive application and network performance assurance solutions, and Expand Networks have a strategic alliance that provides joint customers with the ability to accurately predict the current and future behavior of applications and services and optimize the network impact on application performance in distributed business environments before deployment in production.
  • Softek Transparent Data Migration Facility (TDMF) data migration software and the Softek Replicator for Unix data replication software have successfully completed certification testing to deliver maximum performance and continuous availability for moving data non-disruptively in multi-vendor environments to high-end, midrange, and entry-class HP Itanium servers.
