  • Bell Microproducts will distribute Silverback Systems' line of iSNAP-based host bus adapters (HBAs) in North America. This new distribution relationship enables Bell Microproducts to market Silverback iSCSI HBAs to its VARs and system integrators throughout the US and Canada.
  • Fujitsu Ltd. has selected the Emulex LightPulse 4Gbps PCI Express and PCI-X HBAs for use with the PRIMEQUEST 420, PRIMEQUEST 440, and PRIMEQUEST 480 enterprise servers.
  • Compellent Technologies has chosen Xyratex's 1600 series of SBODs and JBODs for use with its Storage Center SAN.
  • Northern has joined the EMC Velocity ISV program, enabling Northern to build solutions integrated with EMC platforms and develop applications that work with EMC technologies. Northern's participation in the "NAS Specialty" section of the program will facilitate Northern Storage Suite's interoperability with EMC Celerra IP storage systems.
  • Seagate Technology has combined Adaptec's Unified Serial Controllers with its own Cheetah 15K 146GB Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) disk drives to deliver a SAS Evaluation Kit to Seagate system builders and resellers. Unified Serial Controllers (the Adaptec Serial Attached SCSI RAID 4800SAS and 4805SAS) support both Serial ATA and SAS disk drives.
  • Huawei-3Com (H3C) and iVivity have a multi-year partnership to integrate iVivity's iDiSX Storage Network processors (SNP) into its next-generation storage and networking product lines.
  • Diligent Technologies
  • has entered into a reseller agreement with Hitachi Data Systems(HDS). Diligent's line of data-protection solutions, including ProtecTIER VT with HyperFactor, VTF Open, and VTF Mainframe, are immediately available to HDS's customers worldwide under the name Virtual Tape Library (VTL) Solutions by Hitachi Data Systems.
  • KOM Networks has attained Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program.
  • Gear6 has secured $10 million in funding, led by InterWest Partners, and joined by previous investor US Venture Partners (USVP).
  • Njini has secured $13 million in a third round of financing led by Intel Capital, with contributions from existing investors Accel Partners and Add Partners.
