Xiotech's Magnitude 3D 3000 storage system has received VMware ESX Server 3.0 certification. Magnitude 3D 3000 was added to the VMware ESX Server 3.0 "Storage/SAN Compatibility Guide" after successfully completing compatibility testing. The VMware Infrastructure, which includes ESX Server, allows multiple applications to run in virtual machines on the same physical server.

The UDO-DMD format is part of a technology and business alliance with Mitsubishi Kagaku Media (MKM), Memory Tech Corporation (MTC), and Plasmon to provide secure distribution and long-term storage of HD DVD content between authoring studios and disc mastering facilities.
