  • Zetera has formed an alliance with IC Technology, a solutions provider in the rich media industry. IC Technology will use Zetera's Z-SAN technology, which enables IP SANs.
  • Data Domain has chosen Xyratex's RS-1603-E3-EBD Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) subsystem for use with Data Domain's DD560 Enterprise Protection Storage systems.
  • Blue Coat Systems (BCSI), which deals in secure content and application delivery, has become a member of the Network Appliance (NTAP) Partner Program. Both companies will work together to integrate Blue Coat SG appliances with NetApp enterprise storage to provide customers with accelerated data replication and backup processes over the WAN.
  • BladeLogic and Onaro have a technology partnership that provides enterprise customers an integrated management solution for server, application, and storage infrastructure. The new offering, which combines BladeLogic's data-center automation software with Onaro's SANscreen, enables IT organizations to model and manage application and infrastructure services consisting of server and storage configurations.
  • LexisNexis and FAST have jointly implemented a FAST InStream search technology platform into the Applied Discovery online review application. The integration now enables legal professionals to conduct a review of documents during the discovery phase of any case.
  • Expand Networks and Huawei-3COM have an alliance whereby Huawei-3COM will be embedding Expand's Compass Platform Architecture to tightly integrate multiple technologies and map them to the corresponding business mandates for customers who need this functionality in their networking environment.
  • FilesX has joined LeftHand Networks' Technology Alliance Partner Program. The two companies have validated the FilesX Xpress Restore platform and LeftHand Networks' clustered Open iSCSI SANs as a data-protection and recovery solution for Microsoft Windows customers.
  • Imation and Sun Microsystems have a distribution agreement naming Imation the worldwide media distributor for Sun's line of data storage media. Under terms of the agreement, Imation will become the distributor of the full portfolio of Sun-branded tape media for entry-level, midrange, and data-center environments.
