  • QLogic and Onaro have signed an agreement in which QLogic will license a fully functional trial version of Onaro SANscreen SME Edition, which allows SAN administrators to achieve real-time feedback about their SAN infrastructure.
  • Incipient's Network Storage Platform (iNSP), has successfully completed interoperability testing with select IBM TotalStorage-based solutions and has become a certified member of the IBM System Storage Proven solution program.
  • Storewiz has signed an agreement with WebHouse to resell its technology to help address the ever-increasing data demand that threatens to overwhelm its clients' IT resources. With this announcement, WebHouse becomes the latest member of Storewiz's Vanguard Partner Program.
  • Sonasoft has recently signed distribution agreements with SYNNEX in North America, Netswitch in the Asia-Pacific, and Bell Micro in Europe. Separately, Sonasoft has expanded its R&D office headquarters facility in San Jose, CA.
  • Arkeia Software has secured $3 million in Series B equity funding from SPEF Ventures (Banque Populaire) and Crédit Agricole private equity.
  • Dot Hill Systems and Promark Technology, a value-added distributor focusing on data storage and document imaging products and solutions, have expanded their partnership. Under the terms of the agreement, Promark will be a systems integrator for the Dot Hill 2730 storage platform under the brand name "R/Evolution 2730," sold through its channel of storage resellers and system integrators serving both the federal government and commercial sectors. The platform will also be available on Promark's General Services Agreement (GSA) schedule.
  • Rover Technology Fusions, a Tampa technology solutions provider, announced the availability of Rover SPARC (Secure Personal Automatic Replication Card), a portable data backup solution designed with IBM Tivoli Continuous Data Protection (CDP) for Files software inside. The new solution is designed to deliver continuous real-time protection of files that minimizes backup-and-recovery times for individuals and mobile workforces.
  • Sepaton has signed a distribution agreement with Tech Data to extend access of its virtual tape technology to small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across North America. Separately, Sepaton and Hifn have partnered to deliver advanced data-protection solutions combining Sepaton's S2100-ES2 virtual tape library and DeltaStor data de-duplication software with Hifn's Express DR 1000 storage reduction acceleration solution.
  • StoneFly, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynamic Network Factory, announced support across its entire IP SAN product line on Sun Microsystems' Solaris 10 OS.
  • Sepaton has opened its first international office located in Beijing, China, and unveiled its plan to open an office in London this quarter. The new office serves the company's growing Asia-Pacific customer base.
