--Emulex's LightPulse LP21000 family of Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) converged network adapters (CNAs) are qualified by EMC for use in SANs using the new EMC Connectrix NEX-5020 and Clariion. Celerra, and Symmetrix networked storage systems. Seprately, QLogic's 8000 Series CNAs are now qualified by EMC as E-Lab Tested for use with the Connectrix NEX-5020 switch.
--IBM is integrating Adaptec's RAID Storage Processor (RSP) technology in the IBM BladeCenter S. Adaptec acquired the RSP technology when it bought Aristos Logic in August. IBM incorporated Adaptec's RSP in its SAS RAID Controller Module.
--Isilon Systems' IQ X-Series clustered storage systems have been certified and integrated with VMware ESX 3.5. 
--3PAR and Symantec are jointly integrating 3PAR thin-provisioning technology with Veritas Storage Foundation to allow granular, automated, non-disruptive space reclamation within the 3PAR storage array.
--Mimosa Systems has partnered with Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd., combining Hitachi's Content Archive Platform (HCAP) and Mimosa NearPoint to create an offering to address customers' e-mail and e-discovery challenges.
--SiliconSystems has contributed its SiliconDrive II Blade specification to the Small Form Factor Special Interest Group (SFF-SIG) for the purpose of creating an official governing standard. SFF-SIG is an international organization that leads a broad industry effort to create and promote standards for SFF computers, controller boards, and I/O modules. 
--DataCore Software's SANsymphony and SANmelody products have been certified on Citrix's newest XenServer 5 release as virtual SAN appliances, as well as on both standard servers and blades.
--Pillar Data Systems is using Emulex's InSpeed SOC 422 embedded storage switches in all of its "application-aware" Axiom storage systems.
--C2C is extending the benefits of its Archive One solution to provide automated, policy-based record retention, discovery, search, and disposition for Microsoft Windows file systems.
