  • Tek-Tools Software has a strategic reseller agreement with AdviStor, a provider of data storage and data-protection solutions. AdviStor will sell and support Tek-Tools' Profiler Suite, a high-performance, Web-based storage and backup resource management solution.
  • Sonasoft signed a strategic sales and marketing agreement with the North American Components (NAC) business of Arrow Electronics. Arrow will sell Sonasoft's Point-Click Recovery software for Microsoft Exchange, SQL, and Windows File Systems as a stand-alone software product offering or as part of a fully integrated appliance solution.
  • TimeSpring Software and LeftHand Networks have entered into a cooperative sales and technology alliance to deliver and support fully protected consolidated storage solutions that are scalable and easy to manage. The key components of this solution—TimeSpring's TimeData continuous data protection (CDP) software and LeftHand's SAN/iQ SAN platform—were jointly certified interoperable.
  • Incipient's iNSP software suite has demonstrated compatibility with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and earned its Windows Server 2003 qualification.
  • FalconStor Software and V2 Electronics have a new range of storage appliances based on V2's portfolio of hardware platforms and FalconStor's data-protection solutions. By bundling specific FalconStor data-protection functionality with V2's hardware and pre-certifying each combination, V2 and FalconStor are simplifying the deployment of advanced, enterprise-level data-protection solutions. The certified V2 data protection solutions will be available from V2 Electronics across Europe. Initially three specific solutions from FalconStor's IPStor platform have been bundled with V2 hardware: FalconStor VirtualTape Library (VTL), FalconStor Continuous Data Protection (CDP), and FalconStor Network Storage System (NSS).
  • ProStor Systems' line of RDX docks and removable disk media now supports CommVault Galaxy data-protection software and CommVault Galaxy Express.
  • Adaptec and Intel have a licensing agreement to deliver RAID products to major OEM customers and will work together on the development, marketing, support, and innovation of other new RAID solutions.
  • Fujitsu Computer Products of America has a distribution relationship with Synnex to begin shipping Fujitsu enterprise and mobile hard disk drives (HDDs) to resellers in the US. Synnex will also offer XG Series 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches to its customers.
