  • XenSource has signed an OEM agreement with Symantec to embed Veritas Storage Foundation, Symantec's storage management software, into XenEnterprise and collaborate on delivering HA/DR and backup technology to XenSource customers.
  • Hifn has acquired Siafu Software.
  • Asempra Technologies has entered into a strategic partnership with Omaha, NE-based MSI Systems Integrators (MSI).
  • Hewlett-Packard is acquiring Opsware Inc. for about $1.6 billion. The deal is expected to close by October 31.
  • Arsenal Digital Solutions launched its multi-tiered Arsenal Armory Program, which enables partners to capitalize on data-protection services for SMBs. As part of the launch, Arsenal introduced partners HexiSTOR, Jamcracker, and SoftNet Technology.
  • RAID Inc. has entered into a strategic partnership with A&T Systems to help the US Government procure high-performance storage systems at GSA and other program discounted prices. The agreement was originally signed in June 2006. As part of the agreement, A&T will have the ability to sell across RAID's complete product line, including its new Magellan 4Gb FC-SAS and X4 4Gb FC-FC storage systems.
  • Acronis is a Silver Technology Partner with Novell and is committed to the development and delivery of technology solutions, services, and offerings that support SuSE Linux Enterprise from Novell.
