  • LSI's MegaRAID technology has been selected by IBM for integration into the IBM System x server line, via its new ServeRAID-MR10 family of adapters and ROMB solutions.
  • Fujitsu and Reldata announced the interoperability of the Fujitsu XG 10 GbE family and Reldata 10GbE 9240 Unified Storage Solution.
  • AXS-One has an agreement with Quest Technology Management, a technology provider serving Fortune 1000 companies. Under the terms of the agreement, Quest will resell the AXS-One Compliance Platform, offering it as an integrated component of its hosting and managed services messaging offering.
  • ProStor Systems announced interoperability between its InfiniVault archive appliance and CommVault's Simpana Data Archiver and Exchange Compliance Archiver software.
  • The SCSI Trade Association (STA) announced its newly elected Board of Directors for 2008. Re-elected to the position as president was Harry Mason of LSI. Also re-elected as vice president was Martin Czekalski of Seagate Technology. Returning to the Board are Martin Or of Emulex, Susan Bobholz of Intel, Don Jeanette of Fujitsu CPA, David Allen of Maxim, and Paul Vogt of Xyratex. Tonya Comer of HP was re-elected following a one-year hiatus, and Cameron Brett, PMC-Sierra, was newly elected to the Board as secretary.
  • DataCore Software has entered into a Technology Partner Alliance with Vizioncore, a provider of management solutions for virtual infrastructure environments.
  • Promise Technology's VTrak E-Class RAID subsystems have been qualified with Xsan, Apple's high-performance, enterprise-class SAN file system for Mac OS X, and Final Cut Studio.
