  • Intel and LSI recently extended their partnership into a multi-generation agreement to collaborate on RAID technology based on Intel's processors and next-generation RAID technology—code-named "Treemont"—and LSI's MegaRAID software.
  • Linksys, a division of Cisco, entered into an agreement with IBM under which Linksys will incorporate IBM Tivoli Continuous Data Protection (CDP) for Files software into the Linksys by Cisco growing small business solutions product and services portfolio.
  • Alacritech has licensed Chelsio Communications the use of its patents as Chelsio designs and sells solutions that support Dynamic TCP Offload, including support for Microsoft's TCP Chimney Offload
  • Yosemite Technologies and Enhance Technology have a partnership in which Yosemite's data-protection software will be offered with Enhance's multi I/O storage systems and appliances.
  • Storwize has joined the Technical Support Alliance Network (TSANet), a worldwide support alliance that offers an industry-wide forum to facilitate servicing multi-vendor customers while providing an infrastructure for more-efficient problem solving.
  • Avid Technology will resell Spectra Logic products, offering its customers a fully integrated hardware and software solution to manage content from ingest to archive. Spectra's T-series data tape libraries and nTier data archive disk appliances will be sold to customers by Avid in conjunction with Avid Interplay solutions.
  • Open-E's Data Storage Server (DSS) IP-storage operating system now powers Verari's SB5165XL StorageServer.
  • Attenex, an e-discovery software provider, and StoredIQ announced an alliance to provide enterprise customers with a combined offering of their complementary applications to reduce the cost, risk, and time associated with e-discovery.
  • Violin Memory has successfully tested its Violin 1010 memory appliance with FalconStor's Network Storage Server (NSS). The 1010 memory appliance supports up to 500GB of DRAM in a 2U form factor for "Tier-0" storage.
  • Adaptec announced that all seven products in the Adaptec Series 5 Unified Serial (SATA/SAS) Controllers have been certified with VMware ESX Server 3.02 and 3.5 through AppLabs, an independent testing, quality management, and certification solutions company.
  • Asempra Technologies has inked a partnership deal with BakBone Software. As part of the deal, BakBone will resell Asempra's data-protection products in the Windows space. The two companies are also collaborating on joint product development, with resulting products expected in the next few months.
  • InMage Systems announced support for Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services.
