Double-Take (NSDQ:DBTK) has entered into a partnership with IBM that enables System Storage DS3000 and DS3500 users to buy Double-Take's disaster recovery, replication and backup software at a discount through the IBM Business Partner channel. DS3000/3500 users can also download a free 30-day trial version of Double-Take's software.
Crossroads Systems has launched the Library Overview Analysis Service, which provides analytics tools enabling users to monitor their tape library environments. The service is delivered via Crossroads' ReadVerify Appliance (RVA) and can be used in conjunction with the company's Tape Verification Service and Site Analysis Survey services. Tape media supplier Fujifilm is offering a service based on Crossroads' Library Overview Analysis Service.
PSS Systems has integrated its Atlas eDiscovery and legal hold workflow system with IBM's eDiscovery and early case assessment system. The combined solution is called the IBM PSS Information Governance Solution.
Diskeeper recently introduced V-locity 2.0 disk optimization software, which is based on the company's IntelliWrite fragmentation prevention technology that's included with Diskeeper 2010 defragmentation software. V-locity 2.0 is designed specifically for VMware ESX and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
