Storage Dimensions brings RAID to entry-level PC servers

Storage Dimensions` RAIDPro LC is an external array for Windows NT and NetWare/ IntranetWare servers. Key features include:

- Dynamic Growth and Reconfiguration (DGR) technology, which allows RAID capacity to be added and RAID levels to be reassigned while the system is on-line.

- Platform independence.

- High-availability features, including hot spare disk drives, triple-redundant power supplies, and dual-redundant cooling fan modules. The RAIDPro LC comes with three to six drives, with a total capacity of up to 21.5GB per enclosure. A second enclosure doubles the capacity.

A three-drive configuration with 16MB of cache is priced at $4,990. A fully-configured system with six 4.3GB drives is priced at $8,165. Contact Storage Dimensions at (408) 954-0710, www.storagedimensions.com.
