New clustering solution from Vinca

Last month, Vinca Corp. announced shipments of its Co-StandbyServer for Windows NT. Coupled with Vinca`s mirroring engine, the clustering product is designed to improve the ease of administering a server farm. Clustered servers can be set in an active-active or active-passive failover configuration. Remote server pairs can be managed from any workstation or server on a network by using the management console feature of Co-StandbyServer.

Application-support scripts for Microsoft SQL Server and Exchange are available now, with more promised soon. Co-StandbyServer is available through Vinca`s distributors, resellers, and OEM partners. Pricing starts at $4,499 with free, 30-day evaluation copies available.
