DataDirect Networks and Prisa Networks recently announced an alliance designed to bring products to the emerging SAN market. By combining Prisa?s Fibre Channel adapter expertise with DataDirect?s networking software and RAID background, several combined products announcements are expected later this year. DataDirect also announced a strategic agreement with Brocade Communications Systems. The pact calls for Brocade?s SilkWorm Fibre Channel switches to be integrated into DataDirect?s network data access solutions.
