Sun Microsystems and Live Picture Inc. announced a porting and marketing agreement to bring Live Picture?s Image Server solutions to Sun?s workstations and servers. Live Picture?s images are used in retail catalog, on-line auction, stock photography, on-line media publishing, real estate, and travel businesses for Web-based sales and marketing, as well as network-based image asset management. Sun also recently finalized its acquisition of Redcape Policy Software. Sun will integrate Redcape?s Policy Framework self-healing software into its Sun StorEdge software line.
