AMI ships clustering kit

Targeted at VARs and systems integrators, American Megatrends Inc. (AMI)`s MegaRAID Clustering Kit includes two MegaRAID Ultra 428 controllers, four MegaRAID Cluster Enablers, cables, and an MSCS-certified subsystem. The SAF-TE-compliant subsystem includes three redundant power supplies, eight sets of drive rails, two fans, a backplane, and I/O interface. Cluster Enablers eliminate termination and bus problems and automatically isolate/terminate the SCSI channel in the event of a server failure.

The Ultra 428 includes three Fast-20 SCSI channels, each with a Symbios 53C770 SCSI processor. Also included is a 128MB cache and flash ROM to facilitate upgrades. The Clustering Kit starts at $4,995. AMI is in Atlanta.
