Vixel Corp. and Veritas Software signed a technology pact designed to improve fault tolerance in storage area networks (SANs). Veritas? predictive fault management software, coupled with Vixel?s Loop InSite management suite, proactively identifies and solves SAN problems. In a separate deal, Bell Microproducts will distribute Vixel?s Rapport interconnect products throughout North America.
