Veritas Software has announced several recent distribution, OEM, and sales/support agreements. The first is with Sun Microsystems, which will distribute, sell and support Veritas Editions, NetBackup, and HSM suites. Under a new OEM, technology development and distribution agreement with Dell Computer, the two companies will collaborate on future disk and tape management technologies. Veritas also announced that NetBackup now supports Sony Electronics` PetaSite mass storage library and DTF tape drives.
