Gadzoox Networks announced a "storage switch" technology designed to lessen the cost and complexity associated with SAN switch products. Companies supporting the technology include 3Com, Clariion, EMC, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi Data Systems, Intel, and Seagate Technology. Gadzoox also recently introduced the GAIN (Gadzoox Associates In Networking) channel partner program. Designed to help develop the SAN market, GAIN offers technical training and certification to assist distributors and their resellers.
