CDS unveils workgroup NAS server

Creative Design Solutions (CDS) has released Pi, an EIDE-based network-attached storage (NAS) server designed for remote office/business markets. The server runs CDS` Simplicity software, which supports both NAS and storage area network (SAN) architectures. The software includes an operating system layer, device drivers, network protocol layer, and user interface layer. The Pi server includes two drive bays, a Pentium processor, and 10/100 Base-T Ethernet and EIDE interfaces. OEM pricing starts under $795.
