StorageTek has certified the use of Amdahl TDMF storage management software with its Remote Device System (RDS). The combination will enable OS/390 users to move and copy data to remote direct-access storage devices. Also certifying TDMF was Innovation Data Processing, for use with its FDR InstantBackup software. The software duo will enable transparent data movement with a nondisruptive backup process.
