CLARiiON and LSI Logic will integrate Emulex`s Lightpulse PCI host bus adapter into their Fibre Channel storage subsystems. CLARiiON chose the LP7000E for its FC5000 series; LSI Logic, as an option for its MetaStor line. In addition, Seagate Software certified the adapters for its Backup Exec Shared Storage Option for Windows NT and NetWare. The adapters have already been certified with the ADIC Scalar 218 and FCR 100 Fibre Channel-to-SCSI router and the Exabyte 203D tape library series.
