Finisar puts VI on FC adapter

Finisar`s FC-VI is a Fibre Channel host bus adapter that supports the Virtual Interface (VI) Architecture and VI Provider Library (VIPL). VI is a protocol specification (developed primarily by Intel, Microsoft, and Compaq) designed to reduce latency and CPU utilization in message-passing systems such as clusters. Finisar`s FC-VI works with Windows NT, and allows ISVs to develop cluster applications using the VIPL API.
