Laser distance sensor

Using triangulation to determine distance to objects, the BOD-26 laser distance sensor from Balluff Inc. (Florence, KY) indicates position to 80-?m resolution. Its operational sensing range is 45 - 85 mm, with target distance corresponding to the sensor?s analog output of 0 - 10 V DC. LEDs indicate stability, out-of-range and contamination conditions for quick setup, and a Class II rating means no additional safety measures are required. Noncontact dimensional measurement applications also include level detection, tool condition checking, and surface inspection, regardless of background conditions.
