Exabyte ships Fibre Channel-to-SCSI router

In an effort to provide users with higher-performance connectivity solutions for storage area networks (SANs), Exabyte recently began shipping the FC12, a Fibre Channel-to-SCSI router. The router, which complements Exabyte?s FC11 line, features one multi-node Fibre Channel port and two SCSI ports for bi-directional connectivity between a single 100MBps FC port and two

Fast, Wide, or Ultra-SCSI (single-ended and differential) buses. Other features include cabling support up to 10,000 meters, an Ethernet port for SNMP management, and EXAsoft Monitor Software, which provides a graphical view into FC11 and FC12 routers for monitoring and control. The FC12 starts at $7,995.
