Compaq Computer and Legato Systems inked an agreement last month calling for Compaqs Operations

Compaq Computer and Legato Systems inked an agreement last month calling for Compaq`s Operations Management Services area to purchase and resell the Legato software suite as needed by customers. Legato also entered into a strategic OEM relationship with Toshiba under which Toshiba will sell Legato`s enterprise-class storage management software for both the Windows NT and UNIX markets. Toshiba will sell Legato NetWorker with its MAGNIA series Global Network servers and AS/UX series compatible storage management solutions manufactured under an OEM deal agreement with Sun Microsystems.
