Last month at NAB, Transoft Networks officials announced a partnership to facilitate the delivery of the storage industry`s first hardware-independent, open SAN management software. Host bus adapter vendors QLogic and Emulex and switch manufacturer Brocade Communications Systems are working with Transoft to create a SAN solution that can be transparently integrated into facilities equipped with enterprise storage management software.
