RAID for non-linear editing

At the NAB show last month, Medea Corp. introduced a 100GB RAID array for Macintosh, SGI, and Windows-based non-linear editing systems. Shipments of the four-drive VideoRaid 4/100 begin this month. Price: $4,500. The array is compatible with editing systems from vendors such as Avid, Canopus, DPS, FAST, Media 100, NewTek, Pinnacle Systems, and Radius. www.medeacorp.com.
