Last month, Maxell and Quantum extended their joint development partnership to include Super DLTtape products. Maxell will develop and supply data backup media for Quantum`s next-generation DLTtape drive. Maxell is reportedly in the production investment phase of product development. Separately, Fuji Photo Film in Japan also agreed to supply Super DLTtape media.
