Data General`s Clariion storage division and Brocade Communications Systems entered into an OEM agreement under which Clariion will bundle Brocade`s SilkWorm Fibre Channel fabric switches in storage area network (SAN) configurations. Also as part of the collaboration, Data General`s Professional Services organization will become an authorized service provider for Brocade products. EMC`s impending acquisition of Data General is not expected to alter the deal.
