Veritas Software and NCR Corp. entered into a licensing, development, and sales agreement that officials say will lead to enterprise backup capabilities for NCR customers using both MP-RAS (Unix) and Windows NT. NCR will offer Veritas NetBackup as the first integrated backup solution under its Open Teradata Backup program. Microsoft also recently standardized on Veritas Backup Exec for Windows NT.
