The SCSI Trade Association adopted Ultra320 and Ultra640 SCSI as the official names for the next two generations of the SCSI interface. Previously code-named Ultra4 and Ultra5 SCSI, Ultra320 SCSI devices will support data transfer rates of up to 320MBps as well as packetization, double-edge clocking, cyclical redundancy checking, and domain validation.
