Breece Hill Technologies has announced support for Quantum's Super DLTtape technology.

Crossroads Systems is partnering with ITIS Services, a SAN consulting firm that will offer Crossroads' routers as part of its SAN assessment, deployment, management and support services.

Eurologic Systems last month acquired K-PAR Systems, a file system software manufacturer in the U.K. Eurologic officials say they plan to utilize K-PAR's protocol development expertise to develop seamless, heterogeneous file sharing and connectivity between networks and storage devices.

Ultera Systems bulked up its European distribution presence by signing a reseller agreement with Kingswell-Skyhawk AB.

Tandberg Data has introduced the Channel Advantage reseller program. In addition to providing dedicated sales, marketing and technical resources, the program includes Tandberg's DLTtape, SLR and Travan tape drives and libraries.

Crossroads Systems signed its first European distribution agreement, inking a deal with Acal Electronics, a UK-based distributor providing board- and system-level products to OEMs, integrators, and VARs.

Comparex Holdings Ltd. and EMC announced a five-year reseller pact. Under the agreement, Comparex will market, sell, and integrate EMC's storage systems, software and professional services in Europe. EMC also expanded its European strategic alliance with Fujitsu Siemens Computers, which will market and sell EMC's Clariion Fibre Channel storage systems as the FibreCAT line.

Emulex's LightPulse LP8000 host bus adapters have been approved by StorageTek for use with STK's 9840 Fibre Channel tape drive system.

Pathlight Technology and Overland Data recently inked an OEM agreement. The pact calls for Overland to integrate its tape libraries and autoloaders with Pathlight's SAN Gateway and SAN Router interconnectivity devices, SAN Director management software, and Virtual Private SAN (VPS) resource sharing technology. Pathlight also signed a similar deal with ECCS to provide the same components for integration within an ECCS Synchronix SAN.

QLogic announced that its QLA2200 series Fibre Channel host bus adapters received compliance with Microsoft's PC99 test, ensuring compatibility with the Windows 2000 operating system in both workstation and server environments.

Fujitsu Computer Products of America and Advanced Digital Information Corp. (ADIC) announced the integration of Fujitsu's new M8100 tape drive into ADIC's automated mixed-media libraries.

Gadzoox Networks and Dot Hill Systems recently signed an OEM agreement. Gadzoox' Capellix 3000 SAN switch will be incorporated into some of Dot Hill's SANnet RAID subsystems.

JNI Corp. divulged that ATL Products has certified its FibreStar PCI-to-Fibre Channel host bus adapters, including the FCE-6410, FCI-1063, and FC64-1063 PCI and SBus adapters.

Interphase Corp. and Alteon Web-Systems recently announced a strategic partnership to develop dual-port HBAs that support Fibre Channel and Gigabit Ethernet on a single card. The HBAs will be based on Alteon's Tigon2 ASIC technology, which is used in the company's Gigabit Ethernet adapters.

Network Appliance and HighGround Systems have announced a bundling agreement involving NetApp's NAS file servers and HighGround's Storage Resource Manager (SRM) software for Windows NT, Unix, Linux, and Microsoft Exchange environments.

Hewlett-Packard and CacheFlow Inc., an Internet caching appliance supplier, recently signed an integration and reseller agreement. Under terms of the deal, CacheFlow's CacheOS software will be made available on HP hardware platforms. HP will also act as a CacheFlow worldwide reseller.

XIOtech recently introduced the XIOtech Certified SAN Architects partner training program. The program combines hands-on training with classroom instruction on the XIOtech Magnitude array and related SAN components, such as Fibre Channel switches, hubs, and host adapter boards.

Atto Technology and Quantum/ATL entered into a partnership aimed at helping corporations migrate to network storage infrastructures. As part of the agreement, Atto joins the Quantum/ATL Prism Storage Architecture initiative. The two companies are also co-developing Fibre Channel connectivity devices for Prism backup and archival systems. Chaparral Network Storage also announced support for the Prism Developer Program.

Disc Inc. and CommVault Systems recently partnered to provide a bundled storage package combining Comm-Vault's Vault98 software and Disc's Orion line of optical libraries.

Under the terms of a recently signed agreement, Vangard Technology will resell Crossroads Systems' entire line of Fibre Channel-to-SCSI routers.

Rimage Corp. has signed an agreement with Microboards Technology to continue distributing the product line of its recent acquisition, Cedar Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of CD-R desktop publishing and duplication equipment.

ECCS Inc. recently signed up Atlanta-based Bay Data Consultants as a new reseller. Bay Data will resell ECCS' Synchronix line of storage systems.

Constellation 3D Inc. (C3D) plans to acquire Concord, MA-based Reflekt Technology. Reflekt is an optical storage R&D company that C3D officials say will help the company speed up production of fluorescent multi-layer optical discs and cards.
