-- EMC is rolling out new 200GB and 400GB Enterprise Flash drives for its EMC Symmetrix DMX-4 storage systems. The new drives will also be available in EMC's Clariion and Celerra systems later in 2009.

-- LSI is setting up a new shop in the UK to hasten storage adapter delivery times. The company announced the establishment of a new European warehouse and distribution centre at Heathrow Airport. The new location is stocked with the complete range of LSI storage adapters and is expected to reduce product shipment times throughout Europe to three days or less.

-- SANRAD has added storage Service Level Assurance (SLA) functionality to its V-STOR and V-Switch SAN products. The SLA feature can guarantee access priority for critical applications, such as databases, CRM systems or Exchange servers.

-- Storage Guardian is offering "enterprise-grade" services to managed service providers (MSPs) through the Storage Guardian VAR program. Services include online data backup, business continuity protection, and information lifecycle management (ILM).

-- SAN provider StoneFly, a subsidiary of Dynamic Network Factory, is introducing a new line of virtualized IP SAN appliances with entry-level pricing starting at $25,000. Dubbed the Voyager line, the SANs are designed for enterprise customers in need SANs for primary and secondary storage applications. 

--  StorageCraft Technology is offering a discount on the purchase of its StorageCraft ShadowProtect IT Edition software, part of the company's ShadowProtect line of disaster recovery, system migration and data protection software. From now through May 30, StorageCraft is offering a 63% discount on the software, dropping the price to $1,295.
