 The IDC Storage Forum is designed to help IT and business executives answer key questions about how to effectively store, protect, and exploit your information assets. Featuring end user speakers, IDC analysts and industry experts, this one-day interactive forum offers actionable advice for managing virtual and physical storage environments and creating a unified data protection, data retention, ediscovery, and information management environment. The agenda will explore the impacts of emerging technologies such as storage virtualization (both block and file), data de-duplication, and archival disk storage as well as address key topics including: backup/ disaster recovery, thin provisioning, and rich content archives.

 With a theme of "Information in Motion," the conference will offer a combination of 'classic' sessions such as server and storage virtualization, data security, and IP storage tutorials, alongside new elements such as the green data center and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) tracks, the Channel Summit, and workshops on data-center products testing and evaluation by Enterprise Strategy Group analysts.
