With more than 16 years of experience in Storage, Networking and Semiconductor industries at startups and large companies, Harish Nayak has a proven track record of building and managing successful business teams. Mr. Nayak joined Finisar Corporation in 2007 as Vice President of Network Tools, Enterprise solutions and is responsible for driving the business, product, and pricing strategies for the NetWisdom Enterprise product line.

Prior to Finisar, Mr. Nayak was responsible for managing a large business unit at Flextronics Systems Software driving the strategy, revenue targets, delivery and P&L. In 2005, he served a consultant for Fabric7 Systems, a company delivering the next generation network server platform integrating compute, network services and virtualized I/O to enable utility computing and application networking for the enterprise datacenters. During 2004, Mr. Nayak was the CEO and Co-founder of New Ventures, devising a solution for the Business Intelligence market. From 2000 to 2004, he was Co-Founder, Member of the Board, and Vice President of Marketing for Maranti Networks and helped to launch the company as a thought leader in delivering "application aware storage infrastructure solutions" with solid support from analysts and press. As a result, Maranti was chosen as one of the "Top 10 Startups to Watch" in 2002 by Network World magazine. Mr. Nayak has also held management positions with National Semiconductor, Cirrus Logic, and Intel Corporation.

Mr. Nayak holds a B.E. degree in Electronics and Communications from the Manipal Institute of Technology. He also holds a MS degree in Computer Engineering from Oregon State University.
