IBM ships ADSM V3
IBM recently enhanced its Adstar Distributed Storage Manager (ADSM) software with a Version 3 release that includes:
- Optimized backup and restore through intelligent and adaptive processing and fault-tolerant features.
- A server-to-server feature that allows data to be shared among multiple ADSM servers.
- A redesigned user interface and a Web-based administrative interface that allows control and operation over the Internet.
ADSM Version 3 is integrated into IBM`s Network Storage Manager and will be integrated into other platforms next year. Contact IBM at www.ibm.com.
