Pegasus introduces optical management suite
Pegasus Disk Technologies is shipping InveStore storage management software for Windows NT. To facilitate better data retrieval speeds, the software uses high-performance RAM caching. High-speed directory caching enables file searches to be conducted at magnetic disk speeds.
InveStore runs as an NT service to enhance administration and recovery. If a server is brought down for repair or failure, the software will be restored in the same condition prior to the stoppage. www.pegasus-ofs.com.
