ATL intros admin suite
ATL Products is shipping version 2.0 of its WebAdmin remote library administration software. With the use of a Java-enabled browser, WebAdmin 2.0 allows system administrators to easily access tape libraries from within an Intranet or on the World Wide Web for such activities as library set-up, monitoring, event logging and event notification. WebAdmin 2.0 includes the following new features: predictive failure analysis using event triggers, support for non-ATL libraries, an SNMP library monitoring module called LibraryAgent 2.0, and expanded support for Java-based browsers.
