MicroNet adds Fibre Channel
At the NAB show last month, MicroNet Technology (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ampex Data Systems Corp.) introduced the GenesisONE Fibre Channel disk array, which supports striping and mirroring (RAID 0/1) and can be configured with seven 9/18/36GB drives for a total capacity of up to 250GB. The array is based on MicroNet`s DataDock family. Shipments to resellers and VARs begin next month.
MicroNet also added cross-platform file access to its DataDock line, providing support for Macintosh and Windows NT platforms. www.micronet.com.
