LAND-5 enclosures target integrators

LAND-5 Corp.`s ICEbox disk array enclosures include an Ultra2 SCSI backplane and support for SCS-2 disk drives, JBOD or RAID configurations, and up to 18 drives (327GB total capacity) in a 6U package. As many as six arrays can be configured in a RETMA rack, for almost 2TB of storage.

Other features include three Ultra2 SCSI channels, each of which can be connected to a host SCSI adapter card or PCI RAID controller; up to two active/active controllers; an optional thin server for network-attached storage (NAS) configurations; and dual power supplies and fans. Prices start at $5,495.
