Management software for Mylex controllers
Mylex Corp., which is in the process of being acquired by IBM, last month released Workstation Array Manager software for its low-end AcceleRAID line of controllers. Designed for workstation-based RAID, the installation and management tool monitors the performance of controllers, drives and RAID subsystems. Users can change RAID levels or add storage without bringing down the system.
