Emulex adapters support S-Bus
Going head-to-head with host bus adapter (HBA) vendors JNI and Prisa, Emulex has added support for Sun`s S-Bus to its LightPulse HBAs. The 64-bit LightPulse LP8000S is based on Emulex`s Dragonfly ASICs and PCI-based LP8000 HBA design. Features include full fabric support using F_Port and FL_Port connections, and support for all Fibre Channel topologies and the SCSI and IP protocols. Common software can be used to manage Emulex`s PCI and S-Bus adapters.
